Glassybaby – Hotshop & Store

An empty 14,000 sq. ft. industrial building in West Berkeley was transformed into a new hotshop and retail location for a handblown glass votive company headquartered in Seattle.  All new glassblowing equipment, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, accessibility, and rooftop solar systems were designed to maximize the tenant’s use of the space.  A new Retail Store and Special Events space are located directly adjacent to the hotshop floor for members of the public to observe the glassblowers up close.
