Inspired by the neutral palette and spatial serenity of Japanese bath houses, the design began with a custom concrete ofuro soaking tub nested like an egg in a cedar alcove. The remaining spaces rely on an economy of natural materials such as amber stone floor, concrete shower panels & countertops, and cedar siding to achieve an overall sense of sublime strength and restraint to the design.
